Welcome Parents!
I am so excited to be working with your children this year! They are extremely creative individuals who have made this past school year a fantastic one! As you know, grade 5 is an important year as the transition from elementary to middle school. The most important skills we strive to develop in fifth graders involve study skills, increased independence, and responsibility. This includes being organized, keeping track of daily and long term assignments, studying for tests, completing work, and making good choices regarding behavior. I ask for your support in reinforcing expectations set in class. Should you have any questions or concerns please let me know immediately so they can be addressed and any problems can be resolved. Direct communication will help me to better understand and work with your child. Thanks for all you do in supporting your child's educational experience!
